André Ragot (1894 – 1971) (Lot-et-Garonne)
A. Ragot était Médecin dans la marine – campagne d’Extrême-Orient (1931-1932).
- Directeur du service de santé des Forces Navales françaises libres.
– Directeur de la santé de la Marine, Indochine (1945) Toulon (1944)
- Grand officier de la Légion d’honneur, Croix de guerre (1914-1918)
VIOLON D’INGRES : la biologie, les sciences naturelles, l’archéologie, l’orientalisme, l’histoire des religions.
Membre de l’Association des Amis de Pierre Loti, du cercle Ernest Renan, de l’Union rationaliste.
André RAGOT a constitué avec ces dessins, un jardin secret, il a rencontré tous ses garçons et les a croqué sur le vif. Il a noté au dos de chaque œuvre à l’encre, le NOM, LA PROFESSION et LE LIEU
.
Tous ces dessins ont été fait entre 1930 et 1953.

André Ragot (1894 – 1971) (Lot-et-Garonne – France)
A naval doctor, Ragot participated in the Far-East campaign (1931-1932)

Director of medical services for the Free French Naval Forces.
Director of medical services for the French Navy, Indo-China (1945), Toulon (1944).
– Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour, Cross of War (1914-1918).
HOBBIES: biology, natural sciences, archaeology, Orientalism and the history of religions.
Member of the Association of Friends of Pierre Loti, of the Cercle Ernest Renan and of the Union Rationaliste.
RAGOT’s portraits were his secret garden. He depicted men whom he had met, inscribing in ink on the back of the picture the sitter’s NAME and PROFESSION and the PLACE.
All these drawings were done between 1930 and 1950.
