Un groupe d’hommes avec des sportifs posant pour la photographie dans une salle de sport, vers 1940.
Ces hommes sont alignés et forment une jolie file de sujets très masculins. Une insigne est sur leur slip, il s’agit du logo classique de l’UTE (Üpesti Torna Egylet) La section water-polo de l’üjpest a dominé le championnat hongrois dans les années 1930 et 1940.
Cette insigne sur leur bikini est un écusson de forme ovale ou bouclier, traditionnellement bicolore (violet et blanc).
Cette photographie porte au verso, le tampon de l’agence italienne Arbo, avec l’écriture au verso de la photo « groupa di Budapest ».

These men are aligned and form a pretty line of very masculine subjects. A badge is on their underwear, it is the classic logo of the UTE (Üpesti Torna Egylet). The water polo section of the üjpest dominated the Hungarian championship in the 1930s and 1940s.
This badge on their bikini is an oval or shield-shaped patch, traditionally two-tone (purple and white).
This photograph bears on the back, the stamp of the Italian agency Arbo, with the writing on the back of the photo « groupa di Budapest ».
